Bill Gates grew up fascinated by computers and technology.

He dropped out of Harvard to start Microsoft where he developed PC-DOS which became the dominant operating system. Later in life he transitioned to full-time philanthropic work through the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

Bill Gates grew up in Seattle and was fascinated by computers from a young age. He attended a private school where he was given access to early computers and helped develop software.
